Agriculture Stewardship Monitoring Plan Development

The Australian National University (ANU) wishes to provide a quote to the Australian Government Department of Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (the Department) for the development of detailed monitoring plans for the two flagship pilot programs under Agriculture Biodiversity Stewardship Package (ABSP): Enhancing Remnant Vegetation (ERV) and Carbon Biodiversity (CB). Selection of projects for each of the pilots, which target protection and enhancement of remnant vegetation (ERV) and the restoration of degraded landscapes for carbon and biodiversity outcomes (CB), were held separately in 2021 and 2022 across 12 NRM regions. Monitoring and evaluation of the projects is now required to measure biodiversity and other key outcomes, evaluate the effectiveness of the pilots, and to inform the development of future market-based initiatives.
