Description
Driver fatigue manifests as physiological and behavioural changes, including slower reaction times, reduced alertness, and diminished motor control. The proposed solution leverages in-cab cameras to monitor key indicators such as head movements, eye activities and facial expressions. Advanced AI algorithms will analyse these inputs in real time to identify early behavioural cues linked to fatigue, such as eyelid closure (PERCLOS), yawning frequency, and head tilts, enabling proactive intervention. The proposed solution also incorporates night vision cameras for analysing the above-mentioned inputs in low light to support night driving conditions. investigates new driver fatigue monitoring metrics.
