Am I in your way? New performance and digital publishing exploring Feminist protest and resistance.

I will develop a new installation and performance work for a 2025 solo exhibition at Canberra Contemporary ArtSpace, situated next to legislative and civic institutions. The work will extend my engagement with the bodilypractices and visual cultures of protest. It will draw on parliamentary and protest speeches, from the womenssuffrage movement to #metoo, exploring current and historical tactics of agitation and its suppression. Thework will be supported by an innovative digital publishing platform linking museum collection objects andresearch on Feminist protest and performance art. Funding will support high quality documentation, dramaturgand publishing manager delivering online performance documentation and audio components in a newnetworked artwork for audiences to explore.
