Description
In this proposal we are seeking fundsfor a multi-user, open access, dedicated micr-Raman facility for materials research at ANU. The new system will provide researchers with a number of much-needed additional capabilities including the ability to measure the Raman spectra of meta-stable materials, fast Raman-mapping of sub-micron teatures, near-excitation measurements and excellent collection efficiency. The proposed system is extreamly robust with integrated auto-calibration and auto-calibration and auto-alignment procedures that make it ideal for the multi-user instrument proposed in this application.
