An interprofessional approach to addressing the health impacts of climate change through health professional education

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

The proposed study is a modified-Delphi (consensus building) process with HPE experts, to come to a best-practice agreement on which HICC should be included in HPE, and how they should be included. The proposed project builds on existing work the team are doing to audit current evidence, practice and regulation relating to the ways in which health professionals can respond to the health impacts of climate change. The proposed project will be conducted by an existing multi-disciplinary team and builds on an existing engagement with the Health Professions Accreditation Collaborative Forum, both of which ensure that the outcomes will be developed in an interprofessional manner, and suitable for rapid dissemination to health professions education in Australia.
