Project Details

Description

This Centre aims to provide Australian society with the knowledge and technology for robust decision making inresponse to the weather changes in our region as the Earth warms. Applying the weather lens to climate changeis expected to transform the climate science community in Australia by more closely connecting it to the societalneeds for climate information. The Centre also expects to deliver a step change in our ability to simulate theclimate system through the design and application of ultra-high-resolution climate models. The Centre is aiming toprovide significant benefit to businesses, government, and society by increasing our confidence when makingcritical decisions for climate mitigation and adaptation.
