Artists Communicating Beyond the Wall

To hold a scholarly workshop at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney in September/October 2006 in conjunction with an exhibition of contemporary artistic work designed to complement the major historical exhibition of Chinese archaeological treasures: Great Wall of China. The workshop will focus on treatments of the Great Wall in art, and in particular by twentieth and twenty-first century artists.
