    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

This project aims to establish the first national survey of Asian Australian political behaviour with the long-term goal of building a network of researchers and policy makers in Australia and California (where a similar survey was launched in 2011). Asian Australians are less likely than other migrant communities to participate in Australian politics. This project seeks to find out why? Research findings will be analysed and reported in national and international academic journals as well as government reports. The overall findings will lead to an enhanced understanding of the politics of Asian migration in both the domestic and international environment.
