Astronomy Australia Ltd (AAL)- Project to enhance ASVO-SkyMapper under the NeCTAR Project.

Subcontracting Agreement-Astronomy Australia Ltd (AAL) and The ANU (as represented by NCI). Project to enhance ASVO-SkyMapper under the National eResearch Collaboration Tools and Resources (NeCTAR)Project. The major component of this project involves building a joint collaborative space within the theory node of ASVO (TAO), called TAO for Teams (TIT). TIT will enable groups of astronomers expanded access to a common TAOworking space where they can construct, discuss, and share TAO-build mock data products to achieve their science objectives. From the team workspace data can be flagged as either public or private. TfT will encourage research teams to use TAO as their main collaboration environment. The project includes a minor component to undertake important improvements to the ASVO-SkyMapper services that query the databases containing millions of stars, galaxies, and other astronomical objects.
