Description
The University carries out research into the structure of sedimentary core material bymeans of Micro X-ray Computed Tomography Equipment and subsequent analysis of theimages obtained (Digital Core Analysis). The University has established a ANU DigitalCore Consortium to facilitate exchange between key industry partners and researchersinvolved in development of Digital Core Analysis technologies In a 3 year program ANUand consortium partners aim to test upscaling workflows which systematically capturethe effects of heterogeneity in core material.
