Project Details
Description
Quantum technologies promise revolutionary advances in sensing, communications and computing. Optical defects in semiconductors are a leading platform for these applications due to their ease of miniaturisation, control, and integration with current devices. However, major barriers limit their performance. This project aims to break these barriers and achieve new limits for these technologies. It will do so by pursuing answers to fundamental questions that have the potential to circumvent the barriers. As a collaboration, we are uniquely positioned to pursue these answers with exchange of our leading expertise, capabilities, facilities and recent discoveries.
