Breaking the monopoly: A Parallel Route for mRNA Export

This project aims to uncover how cells move genetic messages from the nucleus, where they are made, to the part of the cell where they are used. We discovered a new pathway that may work alongside the known route. Using advanced imaging and gene-editing tools, we will find out how this system works in human cells. This could improve our understanding of gene control and lead to new ways to treat diseases.
