Project Details
Description
This fellowship will involve two NHMRC-funded trials testing ways to better implement internet-based mental health interventions in community and clinical settings: one focusing on individual (consumer) barriers to engaging with evidence-based interventions and the other focusing on systemic (health service) barriers to providing interventions. These trials will be augmented with qualitative and quantitative data identifying the processes involved in disclosure and service use for mental health problems. The research will identify optimal pathways for delivery of psychosocial interventions, and design novel methodological, practical and translational solutions to enhance the impact of psychosocial interventions for mental health and suicide prevention.
