Project Details
Description
Since 1983, Prof. David Lindenmayer and his colleagues have been monitoring a suite of environmental values across Victoria’s Central Highlands. In addition to improving understanding of the ecology of the Central Highlands, this research enables assessment of environmental management performance and identification of both emerging and on-going issues for conservation of environmental values in the region. Since 2000, Parks Victoria has supported this research through the provision of both financial and in-kind contributions. This project brief provides for continued collaboration between ANU and Parks Victoria on this long-term research program over the period 2025 to 2026.
