    This project delivers de-risked pathways for copper extraction by embedding copper supply withinthe plural valuesof copper and their landscapesat the heart of mining decision-making. By proactively integrating plural valuationframeworks into technical decision-making, from mine design to rehabilitation, and ensuring robust consultations andmeaningful implementation of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) principles, the approach anticipates andmitigates the risks of social conflict, project delays, environmental damage, and social and reputational harm.
