Context Report for Deeds and Statutory Declarations - Head Agreement

The paper is to review and consider the following questions How did the formalities for these types of legal documents evolve historically? What was the original policy intent behind the legal forms? What has changed in a post-COVID digital economy? How can we harness domestic and international best practices to streamline some types of transactions and provide safeguards for others, where these are needed? What are the barriers to reforming document execution in Australia? In addition to the Academic paper the taskforce will require presentation of findings at the Deregulation Conference on 22 and 23 July 2021 and one (1)additional presentation with relevant areas.
