    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

The proposed study will focus on autoimmune diseases that develop in the first ten years of life. It will specifically test the hypothesis that many of thesecases are caused by de novo mutations in germline DNA that disrupt one of the self-tolerance checkpoints that normally eliminate or inactivate forbidden clones of self-reactive T and B lymphocytes.
