The Department has undertaken extensive policy, planning and strategy work to addresscurrent and future challenges in securing, maintaining and developing the healthworkforce to meet the health care needs of all Tasmanians. Health Workforce 2040(HW2040) is the strategy for achieving a high quality, sustainable workforce over the 20-year period to 2040.
