Developing an Improved Native Forest Management Carbon Method (PROC8833)

DCCEEW wants to develop an INFM method for consideration under the Australian Governments new proponent-led ACCU method development process. In developing the proposed methodology, DCCEEW has asked that consideration be given to the range of forest management activities that can potentially lead to carbon abatement, including reducing harvesting, changes in thinning strategies, changes to rotation cycles and product mixes, and improved residue management.
