    The main objective of this project is to develop and evaluate the feasibility of pre-school-based education and support programs addressing the related problems of family violence and alcohol abuse, and to assess their impact on a range of outcomes, specifically:Family functioning including: family social capital and reported exposure to domestic violence and problem levels of alcohol use, andChildrens psychological well-being and educational, developmental and nutritional outcomes at exit from pre-school and at school entry.
