Development of an interactive land parcel-grid proximity heat map, incorporating transmission routes

Research activities will be comprised by development and publication of high resolution maps that provide qualitative and quantitativesearchable information about optimum routes for new transmission.The project will envelope three core elements: selection of candidate transmission line routes as agreed between the project parties data generation and analysis data visualisation, presentation and user interaction design to promote ease of use.The initial prototype will (following evaluation of relevant data sets) require: data mounting on National Map or equivalent engagement with relevant entities including state governments electricity utilities and AEMO review and acceptance testing user interaction refinement and iteration.
