Diversifying the Law Curriculum for the 21st-Century

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

This project will map, evaluate and change the curriculum of core courses in the CoL to make it more responsive to gender as a vital social issue. Our aim is to catalyse internal change and to produce publicly accessibly resources that will inspire change beyond the CoL. This is part of a broader initiative to diversify our curriculum that will also tackle questions of Indigeneity and race. The initiative is being driven by a working group of eight CoL academics, has the support of the Dean (see attached letter) and supports many of the objectives in the CoLs strategic plan.
