A/P Bennet will:1. Advise the team on adaptive optics for astronomical instrumentation, space situational awareness, and laser communication, 2. FSOC communications experiments to be conducted in New Zealand,3. Advise on the commissioning of a FSOC ground terminal in New Zealand, including advising on telescope, observatory and instrumentation choices, set-up considerations, operational matters, software and hardware choices, networking requirements,4. Advise on the business case supporting the development of an Australia-New Zealand Ground Segment Network.
