    Project Details

    Description

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are inequitablyburdened by heart disease, particularly at young ages.Currently, the tools we have to assess the likelihood thatsomeone will develop heart disease are not reliable forAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This reduces ourability to identify and manage those at elevated risk of heartdisease. Metabolites are small molecules necessary inmetabolism.
