Engaging Visions: Configuring a model for cultural practitioners to assist catchment communities in addressing natural resource management issues

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

The Project will investigate procedures for visual artist deployment in the field and engagement with communities to configure a model procedure for cultural production and distribution. This will assist basin catchment communities to maintain and enhance a responsive, culturally supportive management of natural resources. The Project evaluates the impact of artist visualisations of community environmental concerns. The model will empower communities and artists to address critical natural resource issues. It will underpin a partner 10-year investment plan for cultural practitioner and community engagement to achieve increased adoption and accelerated up-take of environmentally sustainable practices in the Murray Darling Basin.
