Project Details
Description
This project will be a new and unique set of ecological syntheses across across 5 ongoing world-class large-scale studies I have successfully established over 1-21 years. This new approach to ecological syntheses will test the validity, generality and applied management value of an array of ecological theories and concepts to provide new knowledge and improved understanding of biotic responses to landscape changes such as forestry, habitat fragmentation, vegetation restoration and fire management. The proposed ecological syntheses will be very powerful given they will span several biotic groups in different landscapes subject to different natural and human disturbance regimes.
