    Project Details

    Description

Through establishment of The Canberra Brain Cancer Collaborative we will address the urgent need in our region for networks connecting our patients with the latest research, drug discovery and clinical trials. The establishment of the brain cancer biobank (Aim 1) will provide the resource essential to ensure our patients have the opportunity to be a part of cutting-edge genomics-based drug discovery research. Our creative and collaborative approaches will enable the innovative clinical-research pipelines required to improve patient outcomes for the most challenging to treat brain cancers. Our proven drug discovery approaches, guided by genomics and using custom designed mini brains, will establish reliable pre-clinical pipelines to develop new brain cancer therapeutics with trajectory to the clinic.
