Evolutionary and conservation implications of extreme predation on female endangered swift parrots

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

Swift parrots in Tasmania are becoming increasingly endangered due to the large numbers of breedingfemales killed in their nest hollows by introduced sugar gliders. Our project will use evolutionary theory andcutting edge tools in conservation biology to evaluate the impact of sugar gliders and the best managementoptions.
