    Description

    This project will develop a tandem cell integration platform using a novel low-cost interconnection layer. This integration technology allows the separate fabrication of subcells and releases the constraints on subcell fabrication conditions and subcell surface morphology that are encountered in the direct-growth approach. The platform will be able to incorporate subcells fabricated from different nodes and interconnect them into tandems, integrating the strength of each node to achieve efficiency over 30%.
