Expanding the ANU Raman micro-spectroscopy system into the UV

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Raman spectroscopy is a laser-based, materials analysis technique where incident light interacts with molecular vibrations to provide information about the local atomic bonding environment of a material. Raman is a fast and non-destructive technique which has applications that span across many of the science and technical disciplines, from chemistry to physics, earth science to engineering and even archaeology.
