    Project Details

    Description

The purpose of this APW is to recruit a supplier to conduct formative studies in two countries: Solomon Islands, and Timor Leste. The study will use mixed quantitative and qualitative approaches to investigate current practices for mortality data collection and compilation, data management and dissemination procedures and an assessment of data quality and completeness. The studies will identify key strengths and weaknesses of mortality surveillance in each country and inform the development of a set of recommendations for system strengthening. The findings will inform the development of the Global Framework for Mortality Surveillance.
