Project Details
Description
This project aims to develop and utilise novel concepts of smart metadevices in applications for light control, highbandwidthwireless communication and security. Unique properties of metamaterials suggest a number of usefuleffects not yet explored for real-life applications. By employing electromagnetism, mechanics, colloidal chemistryand nanofabrication this project will pave a way towards user-friendly tunable metadevices made of ultra-thinmetasurfaces and three-dimensional liquid metamaterials. It will demonstrate new approaches for electromagneticwave manipulation in microwave, terahertz and optical frequency ranges.
