Hands-on Energy Explorers

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

Hands-on Energy Explorers is a series of 20 interactive STEM experiences for youth, families, teachers and the Canberra community. In partnership with Libraries ACT and ANU Kambri, 14 free Canberra-wide events featuring informal STEM learning experiences including science shows and agency-supporting hands-on 'tinkering' activities will be run over 2024 and 2025. These experiences will celebrate and familiarise people with Canberra's energy transition, and highlight where further progress is needed - specifically natural gas and transport. Exciting new content in these areas - such as 'racing' induction and gas hotplates or building model e-cargo bikes powered by solar energy - will be developed.
