Description

This MEC grant application seeks funding to acquire a low-cost, user-friendly autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system for airborne imagery collection and data processing. The integrated system consisting of a senseFly eBee RTK UAV, Trimble R4 RTK GPS surveying base station, digital imaging camera and multispectral sensors, mission planning and data post processing software and graphical workstation will be capable of generating centimetre resolution and precision topographic maps, 3-D digital terrain models and 2-D ortho-rectified photorealistic images.
