Project Details
Description
The aim of this project is to provide information describing the dependency of renewable hydrogen costs on the hydrogen supply capacity factor. This will allow plant operators to decide if it is more cost effective to shut down or curtail output during certain periods of the year, or to invest more upfront in renewable generation and potentially expensive storage assets to keep the plant running for more of the time. By being publicly disclosable, the results of the project can feed into policy making and company/industry promotion.
