HILT.RP2.006 - Hydrogen Supply within HILT Regional Hubs H2 Cost and Synergistic Opportunities

The objectives and aims of this framework will be:To develop a common framework (reference system) for comparing the cost of delivered hydrogen at HILT hubs via any of the alternative hydrogen production pathways on a common basis.To evaluate the cost of hydrogen across the whole supply chain, in a number of scenarios considering different scales, locations and hydrogen production technologies.To identify the potential for cost reductions through considering different scales, co-location with other industries, extra revenues from selling side-products etc.To identify the cost trajectories and the timeframe for reaching the target cost by applying the learning rate, if the emerging technologies has been selected for the hydrogen production.To liaise with HILT CRC partners to select the scenarios for evaluation and to review the framework to ensure it considers the issues of importance.
