    Description

    Professor Darren Gray (ex AID member now at ANU, Canberra) and Don McManus have prepared a submission to the Australian Government to create an animated video to educate primary school aged students in Australia about what they need to do during the coronavirus pandemic in terms of hygiene and social distancing. This project is based upon our award winning Magic Glasses, a successful and engaging cartoon-based hygiene education package for schoolchildren. Originally developed for intestinal worm infections (soil-transmitted helminths (STH)), it could be readily adapted for COVID-19 due to the similarity in hygiene messages notably hand washing and implemented in the school system with ease and rapidity across Australian
