Improving landscape nutritional quality for koala and greater glider conservation and management

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

Now entering its fourth year, the Gourmet Gum Leaves Project aims to boost the long-term viability of koala and greater glider populations by enhancing the nutritional quality of habitats and restoration plantings. The fourth year of this project will comprise two key components to be delivered by the Research School of Biology (RSB) at The Australian National University. RSB will lead work related to field sampling and laboratory analyses, leveraging its expertise in nutritional ecology and koala physiology to ensure rigorous scientific and data-specific underpinnings for restoration decisions
