    Project Details

    Description

The aims of the project are to develop a second iteration of ORBIT (ORBIT 2.0), and to conduct a randomised controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate its effectiveness in improving QoL in late stage BD. A cost-effectiveness analysis will be attached to the RCT, and three therapeutic mechanisms will be investigated. We expect to definitively demonstrate effectiveness of a new evidence-driven, online intervention, ready for economical dissemination and with potential to improve QoL and correlated clinical outcomes in this poorly served population.
