Integrated High-Performance Control of Aerial Robots in Dynamic Environments

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

Small semi-autonomous aerial robots are becoming indispensable in a wide range of security, commercial and environmental monitoring tasks. This project will contribute to the development of the fundamental science and technology that underpins the development of aerial robots by developing high performance robust control algorithms to ensure safe operation even in dangerous and dynamic environments, and coupling this with novel intuitive user interfaces that allow novice pilots to teleoperate robots with minimal training. The project outcomes will make aerial robotic systems simpler, more robust, more stable, and more useful, than existing systems.
