    Description

    Small semi-autonomous aerial robots are becoming indispensable in a wide range of security, commercialand environmental monitoring tasks. This project will contribute to the development of the fundamentalscience and technology that underpins the development of aerial robots by developing high performance robust control algorithms to ensure safe operation even in dangerous and dynamic environments, andcoupling this with novel intuitive user interfaces that allow novice pilots to teleoperate robots with minimaltraining. The project outcomes will make aerial robotic systems simpler, more robust, more stable, and more useful, than existing systems.
