    Project Details

    Description

Interactive computer vision for image interpretation has a wide variety of applications, such as medical image analysis, financial document processing, and impact evaluation from natural disasters. This project aims at pushing forward the fundamental research in interactive computer vision and developing practical solutions for real-world image interpretation systems. The goal is to bridge the gap between the human and the computer by modelling the human perception process and learning from human's ability in image interpretation. It will build integrated schemes that allow knowledge on the image interpretation tasks be transferred from human to computer.
