    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

Despite the popularity of the web, little is known about the capacity of the Internet to improve knowledge and promote positive health. This project investigates the use of e technology in Lifeline call centres. It aims to establish whether the use of e-technologies is superior to traditional methods for delivering health information. It addresses Lifeline’s current mission to transform its health service through the provision of evidence-based information and preventive tools to consumers. If successful, this project will establish a new paradigm in the delivery of health information to the community and improve consumer health outcomes.
