Ion Chromatography for Chemical Analysis of Water, Soil and Rock

This proposal is to develop an Ion Chromatograph (IC) facility for analysing the concentrations of anions in waters, soils and rocks. It will support current and growing research in a wide variety of fields, including earth sciences, environmental sciences, chemistry and biology. It is primarily focussed on freshwater and marine and soil-related research, but there are much broader applications that will promote the building of research capacity in other fields, e.g., engineering and physics.
