Description
This project centres on a biographical study of the Australian economist, Sir John Crawford (1910-1984), and particularly his contribution to Australian economic and social policy in general, with a focus on agricultural and trade policy, international aid and development, and higher education. Ethics approval is sought for a series of interviews with people who worked with Crawford, and who will assist in assessing his influence and establishing his contexts.
