Just Rules for Incentivizing Pharmaceutical Research and for Disseminating its Benefits

Wealthy and Anglophone, yet with small population and located in the global South, Australia has a special interest and opportunity to help overcome the twin problems of poverty and disease that continue to blight the lives of billions in the poor countries. The project will develop the most effective response to this challenge, which involves rethinking and reforming the rules governing pharmaceutical research and its dissemination. The aim is to formulate a political reform option that is fully worked out in its moral, economic, and scientific aspects.
