Multiscale Flooding Dynamics of Otway (DCA) - Project Phase 1

The program will illustrate the importance of incorporating realistic geological structures in the PaaratteFormation, (at the CO2CRC Otway site) at multiple scales to offer greater confidence in static and multiphaseflow predictions at the reservoir cell scales (inputs to static model). Successful completion of the project willoffer the Otway Stage 3 project and future Otway activities improved confidence in the static and dynamicsimulation of the extent and impact of the injected CO2 stream. More widely the program will enable one to perform sensitivity analysis and understand the impact of key fluid properties and geological parameters on the CO2 plume migration in Otway.
