National forest monitoring innovation lead for the Centre for Climate-Smart Forestry (CCSF).

UoM has entered into the Head Agreement with the University of Tasmania and the University of the Sunshine Coast on or about 31 January 2025 to undertake the Australian Forest and Wood Innovations project (“Project”). AFWI CCSF, via the University of Melbourne, shall contribute a fixed amount of funding to support the theme lead position, of $30,000 per annum for program development and co-design activities and travel. The Collaborator shall employ the Theme Lead and retain full responsibility for all employment-related obligations. The CCSF Director shall provide strategic direction and oversight in relation to CCSF research priorities and ensure the Theme Lead is appropriately engaged in AFWI and CCSF activities, including relevant meetings, workshops, and industry engagement opportunities.
