National Space Mission for Earth Observation: Earth Observation Data Quality

Geoscience Australia and the Australian National University signed a Letter of Intention to Collaborate on 11 April 2016 to streamline collaboration on shared mutual interests across a range of science disciplines including earth science, mathematics, statistics, environmental sciences, computational sciences and spatial science.The Project Parties have agreed to contribute to and conduct the Project on the terms of this Project Agreement. GA and ANU will partner on a research program on Earth Observation (EO) data quality. This project seeds establishment of an ANU-hosted research centre to: i) scope the development of a potential quality and integrity monitoring service for global satellite data; ii) undertake research on legal frameworks and policy implications of data integrity monitoring
