Natural Language Processing pilot program for ASIC

BDO successfully tendered for funding from ASIC to provide services seeking to better understand the capabilities, benefits and costs of applying natural language processing (âœNLPâ) to different regulatory issues as Australiaâ™s financial markets conduct regulator. ASIC wishes to explore, through a trial, how NLP may be able to better search and identify key words of interest. BDO has engaged the ANU as a subcontractor to provide the Machine Learning (ML) based Natural Language Processing (NLP) logic expertise component of the ASIC NLP Trial for Financial Reporting.
